Goals of a smart gun:

• Always disallow unauthorized use. "Black list" and/or default determination.
• Always allow authorized users. "White list" of individuals and/or groups

The following must be balanced

• Officer/Operator safety
• Child safety

Must perform properly in all circumstances and conditions.

• Gloved (precludes many types of biometric identification)
• Any stance or position
• Naked (precludes jewelry and other ancilary transmitters.)
• Wet
• Cold
• Hot
• etc.

Unauthorized users must not be able to:

• Place the weapon off of safe mode
• Fire the weapon
• Rack the slide
• Remove the magazine
• Access the unit for reprogramming

A smart holster may also be of benefit.

Other desireable features:

• Low cost
• Easy to install
• Easy to reprogram
• Extended battery life

Components to fit F2000, P90 and Five-seveN pistol – We now offer specific components to fit FN Herstal’s F2000 standard and tactical models. With extensive use of composite materials in construction the lightweight, bullpup F2000 is a futuristic weapon which permits accessories to be added or interchanged such as Grenade Launcher, Light, Laser, Bayonet etc. Even the standard sight is on a MIL-1913 Picatinny rail so can be rapidly replaced by another sight.

These features, which make the 2000 a versatile weapon, have also made it challenging to store - until now!

"FN used and continue to use with Fiocchi a powder from Western Powders- label of 'RAMSHOT' for all of their factory loads. They use only two of the RAMSHOT line, these are Zip and True Blue.

SS190- 6.0 grains- Zip(plain tip) 6.5 grains-True Blue(black tipped)
SS191- 6.0 grains- Zip(plain tip) 6.5 grains-True Blue(black tipped)
SS192- 6.5 grains- True Blue

PB Clermont distributes their powder via Western Powders and.......thus RAMSHOT."
