Thunder 5 - Suggested Ammo

Thunder 5 - Suggested Ammo

Trying to see if a burglar that is breaking into your home is armed or unarmed wastes valuable time and really doesn't matter. A high percentage of assaults and killing of victims is "by items readily available". Personally I would try to retreat to the room my wife or others were in. But if I ever did have to use a firearm in self defense, I would keep shooting until the fight was over. Most drug addicts are not stopped with 1 bullet, they'll keep coming at you!

What you do next is VERY important!

1. Secure you house and family. I don't care what those clowns on TV tell you, protect family and self FIRST.

2. Call your lawyer. If it is nights or week-ends leave a message.

3. Put you gun on the dresser. Make sure it is in full view from the doorway and within easy reach.

4. Call 9-1-1 LAST. "Some one is shot at 1234 street and may need assistance" Answer nothing but name and address. Admit nothing. "My lawyer is Joe at 555........"

Go get a pencil and write this down.

My name is _________ of _______ street
I defended myself and family with minimal force
My lawyer is ______ at phone number ____ - _______
the gun is on top of the dresser in the __________

You have a good chance of getting an honest policeman to show up. There is a possibility that one of them is related to your dead intruder or they don't like people with guns or even blue cars in your driveway. You will want your firearm on top of a dresses or table so they won't have an invitation to rummage around your stuff. This statement you wrote down is not an anti-police rant. They use the same procedures if involved in an off-duty shooting. Almost all policemen on duty don't make a statement without representation.

In God We Trust . . . and our lawyer does the talking.
Don't let them shake you. Hopefully none of us will ever need this advice. Hopefully we'll never need our fire insurance, but most of us have it.

Have you Hugged your NRA Instructor Today?
