The piece would be the screw in this picture.

A modified screw that would stick out an extra 3/8' so it could engage the magazine release plunger.

That way I could have a 22lr magazine that would work in my 77/22 magnum magwell. Then I could get a 22lr or 17m2 barrel for it and not have to single load.

This would also come in handy on a 96."
