"just decided to join the forum, been playing with a 17 velociraptor for a while now. the wildcat is based on the fn 5.7X28 case necked down to 17 caliber.
hope this qualifies me to be here, if not i'm sure you will let me know in short order.
the cartridge is chambered in a cooper model 38 repeater, the rifle was originally a 17 ccm but refused to function as did most of the 17 ccm rifles.
the rifle is still a repeater and holds 3 rounds in the clip and one in the chamber.
the cartridge it's self fires a 25 grain bullet at 3200 fps with AA1680 powder. the 20 grain vmaxes exceed 3600 fps with just .4 of a grain more."
