I've been looking for a factory/custom barrel for the FN Five-seveN (IOM or USG model) and Kel from Gemtech recently posted the following at http://www.subguns.com/boards/mgmsgarchive.cgi?noframes;read=433098 I am _very_ interested in this option, since the others appear to be infeasable.

Gemtech partnered up with Jarvis (www.jarvis-custom.com) to do a run of 5.7x28 pistol barrels, done exactly like the factory ones (and I do mean "ones", as apparently we've got one of the, like, half-dozen or so real ones in the country...).

The barrel job took a backseat for some other priorities we had late last year, but Bill Jarvis recently told me they should have the barrels done right after SHOT Show.

Suggestion: Call Jarvis, get on a wait list if he's running one. There's
not going to be a ton of them, it's very possibly a one-time run unless demand is suprising.
