So, the operators manual advises against using any type of lubricant or cleaner that has teflon, etc. in it. What does everyone use to clean and lube their Five-seveNs?

Hoppes, then Gun Scrubber on the barrel only, then synthetic Gun Lube wipedown. I figure since they make it, FN must know something about its upkeep. No teflon for me on the 57, thanks. I use it elsewhere, on my other guns.

Mpro7 is a good cleaner for such pistols, its also sold as Hoppe's

they make four basic products
1.Bore cleaner...darn good stuff that will get stuff out of barrels
previosly thought to be clean!
2. Mil spec CLP
3.synthetic gun oil
4.Bore gel....its like the bore cleaner,but has the concistancy of
honey
I use all of them and im totally happy
