Other features: Graphics overlay showing own position, target position, waypoint indication, bank -and arrow indication for direction; Integrated camera and display unit for enhanced low light capability.
Contains a laser rangefinder, digital magnetic compass, GPS, motion and temperature sensors and has storage capacity for ten images.
The Vingsight FCS communicates via USB2 - transferring pictures, charts, video, messages and input from external GPS. Other external interfaces are battery charging, Video In, HUD/VGA, airburst, and remote key-pad.

The Vingsight FCS is developed as a stand-alone universal sight unit for all weapons and calibers from 5.56 mm to 40 mm Automatic Grenade Launcher.
The Vingsight FCS is selected as the primary sight unit in the R&D phase for the Norwegian Soldier Modernization Program (NORMANS - Norwegian Modular Arctic Network Soldier)."
