Magazines for rechambering/rebarreling projects

The AMT .30 carbine pistol magazines may work better than the M1 carbine magazines.

You are correct, that would be the mag I am using at this time. I had to dead soften the feed lips and made a .300" diameter mandrel to reform the feed lips, (just like when you reform the 45 ACP feed lips in a 1911 Colt), same principal. Being a single feed mag reduces most of the problems.
