DIGITALWastelands - Marushin - Five-Seven USG: "Since my first AEG, an FN -P90, I've been interested in the 5.7x28mm round and anything that could be related. The FN Five-Seven (Named after the round, duh), is the first semi auto pistol to take this round. Marushin created the first replica of the USG variant and did quite a nice job appearance wise."

Brass Catcher Review - ArmsVault
Brass Catcher Review - ArmsVault: "Brass Catcher from CTK Precision
Semi-automatic guns, whether pistols, rifles or shotguns, are fun and easy to shoot. So fun and easy to shoot, in fact, that one can easily find himself expending multiple boxes of ammunition in a single session. Once the firing is over, though, many of us will want to pick up our spent cases. This is, shall we say, not so fun – ejected brass has an amazing knack for finding its way into the hardest-to-reach areas possible. Picking it up usually involves a lot of bending over, crawling around and reaching into dark, dirty corners of the shooting area. Plus, if you're sharing a shooting area with other people, there's always the hassle of your brass getting mixed in with theirs, stepped on, or otherwise hazarded."

All you need is to:
1. use the shop towel to remove grime
2.use compresed air(airsole) to remove the dust and shaving's
3. clean the bore and chamber
4. place one small drop of CLP in 6 locations(see picture)
PS: this way of cleaning has served me for well over 25000 shots and still counting. Use it only as refersnce, since it is only my personal opinion."

smoothing out the trigger pull - FN FiveseveN Forum
smoothing out the trigger pull - FN FiveseveN Forum: "I have read through several trigger pull related posts here, and I don't believe that anyone has yet determined the cause of the rough feel of the trigger pull on the USG's.
Today I disassembled my 5.7 for a thorough cleaning, and I noticed with the slide removed the trigger pull was very smooth. I manually cocked the hammer and pulled the trigger several times and I started looking at how the trigger mechanism was designed, and followed the trigger linkage back to where it releases the hammer.
I noticed that the linkage between the trigger pivot and the hammer release rides on an indented ramp of the slide. Hard to describe exactly what I mean so I have some pics that should be posted soon.
The trigger pull tension is caused by a protrusion in the trigger linkage that kind of gets wedged against the slide as the trigger is pulled. The roughness of the edges rubbing together creates a lot of resistance, that I guess might work itself out over time with lots of usage. I have fired several hundered rounds through my 5.7 and I'm still not completely satisfied with the trigger pull."

The correct order for the pics. (I dont blame btown, its not his fault they are not in proper order) I will say where the pics order should be in, counting from the top down.
This is only for the slide disassembly process. I will tackel the frame next.
The correct order should be: 1, 4, 6, 8, 2, 5, 9, 7, 3."
