FN FiveseveN Forums - optic mounts for five seven: "ok i made a bridgemount for the 5 7 out of steel for fitting. all appears well and i am going to remake them out of stainless and have them and either polish the stainless or have them powdercoated black. the only thing i have left to make is replacement frame pins (1 through the takedown lever and the other through the trigger) which will be metal (not sure what material yet) and will be drilled and tapped dead center with 3-48 threads. All is going extremely well and i hope that within the next 2 weeks i will be able to get them out too a couple of you guys for testing."
