Last night at 11:30pm, members of the Special Investigations Unit, Youth Violence Strike Force and Detectives from District 11 responded to an address in Dorchester and recovered one FN Herstal 5.7X28 millimeter semi-automatic handgun. The firearm was found loaded with 5.7X28 millimeter ammunition. The firearm was forwarded to the Ballistic Unit and the investigation continues."
